Hello, My name is Eric Silva, and I’m an innovative instructional technologist with over seven years of experience in higher education and over ten years of experience working with instructional technology tools. I love pushing the boundaries of a tool to create new experiences that benefit and improve the digital learning environment for our students, faculty, and staff.
While the official job description of an LMS Administrator is typically technical, our role is much more than that. Like Product Managers, we oversee the technical aspects and user experience and serve as advocates for our end users. As we implement new functionality and changes, we must focus on the student, faculty, and instructional designer personas to ensure we’re enhancing and not worsening their experience.
