Adding Alternate Text to Images in Blackboard Learn

Adding alternative text (“alt text”) to an image provides a textual version of the graphic. This is beneficial for screen readers as it’ll be able to verbally describe the image to the user.

  1. From the Text Editor, navigate to the Insert/Edit Image Page ().
  2. Enter your alternative text in the Image Description field.
  3. Click Insert.
