Why is the Final Grade less than the weighted total column for the student that received extra credit? If this is working correctly shouldn’t the grade go up slightly?

Disregard my comment. I misread the final grade as 93.xx not not 96.xx

So I notice that it’s not giving EXACTLY 3 extra credit percentage points, but 2.98. Understandably, this doesn’t affect the final grade since that 100th of a point won’t change things. But I’m having a similar issue that DOES affect my final grade calculation:
I’m trying to add 1 percentage point, but it’s instead adding 1.58. So this ends up actually changing the final grade more than I want. If someone’s getting 86.58% in the Weighted Total column before extra credit, it’s showing up as 88.15% in Final Grade. I want it to be 87.56%, instead.
Any ideas on how I can fix this problem?
    Thanks!

[…] Adding extra credit points to a weighted total in Blackboard Learn can easily be done with three grade center columns: Extra Credit, Weighted Total and Final Grade.  […]
