Blackboard Feature Spotlight: Due Dates

The Due Dates option in Blackboard is a helpful student feature that sometimes gets overlooked by instructors. You may be thinking why do I need to use Due Dates when I already use Visibility Dates to manage content.

When Due Dates are set, assignments will automatically appear in the course calendar, my Blackboard, To-Do Module and via email. These notifications are another way to help students stay on track. If you do not allow late work you will still need to set visibility dates. Currently there is no option to not accept late work for assignments.
