Blackboard Quick Tip: Set Course Availability

When designing your course at the beginning of the semester, a good tip is to make your course unavailable, so your students don’t get notifications every time you edit content. This also gives you the ability to edit your course without having students possibly view content that shouldn’t be released yet.

Steps

  1. From the Control Panel, click Customization then Properties.

  2. From the Properties page scroll down to Set Availability.
