Changing the Language of a Blackboard Course

If you’re teaching an advanced foreign language course, such as Spanish, it might be beneficial to have your Blackboard course in Spanish. The course language can be easily changed via the course’s customization settings.

Steps

  1. Go to the Control Panel > Customization > Properties.

  2. Scroll down to the “Select Language Pack” header.

  3. Select your language from the dropdown box

If your language is not listed, it has not been enabled by your institution’s Blackboard administrator.

  4. Select the “Enforce Language Pack” checkbox to override the student’s language settings.
