How to check which version of Blackboard you’re using

To determine your version of Blackboard you will first need to visit your institution’s login page and scroll down to the copyright information.

Then click Installation details. The numbers in parentheses indicates the version of Blackboard you are using. Instructors and students only need to look at the first three number groups. Numbers following the third number group identifies the particular build and is only necessary for administrations.

In the example below this institution is running Blackboard Learn 9.1 – April 2014 Release. (2014 = Year 2014; 04 = April)

In the example below this institution is running Blackboard Learn 9.1 Service Pack 13.
