Sync the Blackboard Calendar with other Calendar Apps

Built into the Blackboard Calendar is the ability to generate an iCal feed to import Blackboard events into a third-party calendar application. Once you have added the iCal URL to your application, it will automatically update to reflect any changes made within Blackboard. Currently, the calendar is designed to only export events; you will not be able to modify the calendar outside of Blackboard.

Steps

To Generate the iCal URL:

  1. Visit your calendar via a course or myBlackboard.

  2. Click ‘Get External Link.’

  3. Copy the URL in the popup window.

  4. Paste this URL into your calendar application.
